I moved on to Geneva and, for the first time, stayed the night there. I have flown in to Geneva on many occasions but stayed in the very pleasant, four star Warwick Hotel which is extremely convenient for the main Railway Station. In my job, we see a lot of U.K hotel reps and do get the occasional invitation to stay but I was surprised last year to be asked to listen to the reps from the Warwick who had come from Geneva. They offered a stay, may have been surprised that I took it up - no-one else was - and, although the weather turned rainy, it was a lovely opportunity to see a little bit more of Geneva and at night before toasting another enjoyable Swiss holiday in the very comfortable bar.
